Account manager

Our client – British PR Agency – looks for an Account manager to work with luxury brands Tasks:
  • Client management — serve as lead with Account director oversight on a minimum of 8 clients
  • Client PR plans/Activity Schedules — draft with team members and present to clients
  • New client pitches- develop and present, if required, new business proposals for potential clients
  • Media meetings – attending journalist meetings each month, developing/strengthening new contacts, supervising the media contact development of team members
  • Media lists — development of media lists for trips, events and targeting to garner greater coverage, and maintenance of client database/contacts
  • Media pitching- active daily pitching/calls to media on behalf of all clients
  • Media requests- replying to all media requests
  • Press trips- assist with all details and preparation when planning press trips (both individual and group) even when not attending
  • Monthly Reporting
  • Trends — Identifying and circulating trend stories/information to your team and other co-workers
  • Monitoring – ensure that all publications are monitored, labelled, scanned and checked and that nothing has been missed
  • Team management and training – assist in training of new team members, and current team members when help is needed
  • Ensuring that the final budget is approved by the client and all suppliers’ expenses are pre-approved by Managing director to ensure compliance with local financial accounting and tax requirements.
  • Attend at least 4 group press trips per annum if opportunities arise
  • 3 years of experience in PR, preferably in luxury industry
  • 1 year of managerial experience
  • Fluent English and Russian
