Commercial Director

Our client – one on the major Russian fashion retail companies – looks for a Commercial Director. Key responsibility: management of Sales and Purchase departments to make sure that the planned economic indicators (sales plan, income, turnover, average value of the check, profit margins, etc.) are achieved

  • Management of commodity matrix, seasonal and annual strategic planning
  • Budgeting, control of purchase budget and procurement
  • Pricing, price policy development
  • Operational management of sales
  • Marketing activities planning and implementation in order to increase sales volume
  • Inventory management
  • Analysis of demand and sales dynamics
  • Monitoring and control of margins, turnover and other indicators
  • Interaction with key clients and partners
  • Industry events visiting, define perspective vendors, negotiations
  • Fashion market analysis, evaluation of new projects
  • Department management (70 people)
  • University degree
  • Successful management experience in fashion retail over 3 years. Experience in multi-brand retail is preferable
  • Deep understanding of fashion market, understanding of business processes in sales and purchase
  • Experience in business-process building and development
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking
  • Advanced PC user (MS Excel)
  • Fluent English.
  • Ready to go on business trips
